Wendell Scott loved cars and driving fast. Growing up in Virginia, he became a brilliant mechanic and fearless driver. Even when some people didn't want him on the track because of the color of his skin, Wendell never gave up. He built his own race cars and became the first African American to win a race in NASCAR's highest level. His incredible courage and determination paved the way for future generations in motorsports, proving that no dream is too fast to catch.
