Tobi's Glowing Garden

Listen to this story

Tobi was a tiny, very slow baby tortoise who lived on the edge of the great savanna. While the fast animals zoomed past him, Tobi simply smiled and took his time. One magical night, a gentle glowing light appeared on his shell. As Tobi walked his slow, patient steps, the light softly illuminated the path, revealing tiny, beautiful moon-flowers that only bloomed in the quiet of the night. The fast animals had rushed past them, but Tobi stopped to admire every single petal. He called his friends back, and soon, the whole savanna gathered around the tortoise to see the hidden beauty they had missed in their hurry. Tobi showed everyone that taking your time allows you to discover the most wonderful magic. The savanna fell asleep peacefully, bathed in the soft glow of the moon-flowers. Tonight I remember that taking my time helps me discover the beautiful magic hidden all around me.
